For myself, this story fails to live up to its potential. It's had times where it seems like the story was finally about to kick into gear, but each time the story stalls out, smothered by endless exposition, and little to no measurable progression.

the book is very well written, a good translation as well as a remarkable development of the MC, he is not stupid and naive Honestly I recommend.
