As he approached, he noticed white orbs floating in the pool.

Before he could finish, he spotted the remaining two Red Whiskered Carps in the pool's edge and swiftly pulled them out with his Cloud-Stepping Lynx.

The remaining startled Red Whiskered Carp plunged into the Spirit Spring pool, causing a splash that made the nearby Pure Snow Lotus tremble.
The bud within the snow-white lotus leaf subtly bloomed, revealing layers of delicate white petals.
The two slender red whiskers anxiously wiggled in the pool, trying to hide behind the Pure Snow Lotus.
Lu Xuan retrieved the white orbs from the water, which dissolved into numerous specks of light and entered his body.

"Come here, a snack after your meal."
He summoned the Cloud-Stepping Lynx and fed it the Beast Spirit Pill.
Shortly after ingesting it, the Lynx's aura surged, its body enlarged, fur glossier and darker, its four white clouds under its feet pristine.
Lu Xuan tested it and noticed the Lynx had gained some speed. Its hidden claws were sharper, effortlessly leaving deep marks on the stone wall.
"Hoo!"
Feeling the surge in its strength, the Cloud-Stepping Lynx couldn't contain its joy and let out a roar towards Lu Xuan.
Lu Xuan keenly sensed that compared to its previous roars, the lynx's current one sounded rougher and hoarser, quite contrary to the lynx's elegant appearance.
"Great roar, but let's not do it again next time," Lu Xuan said helplessly to the Cloud-Stepping Lynx.
"Hoo-hoo!"
The Lynx strained to produce a more refined sound, seemingly trying to prove it wasn't a bad singer.
"Haha!"
Hearing its contrived and affected roar, Lu Xuan couldn't help but tug at the grey-white fur on its ear tip.
The Lynx raised its head, its green eyes coldly scanning Lu Xuan's face, then walked to the edge of the Spirit Spring pool, gazing indifferently at the remaining Red Whiskered Carp inside.
The grey-white fur on its ear tip trembled slightly, indicating its inner joy, evident even without Lu Xuan's concentrated observation.
