“Your Excellency Lynn?” A nobleman called.
Lynn came back to his senses, and left the peculiar system alone for now.
“Thank you, Lord Earl,” Lynn said while saluting.
“Do not thank me, just prove your ability. Although it was strange.. I do not know you very well, but I believe in you against all odds,” said Theresa while looking into Lynn’s eyes. Lynn nodded in response.
“When will I get married to Lucy?” He asks.
Damn it! The young nobles around him began to grind their teeth! This person has not achieved any results yet, but he thought ahead of them. Lucy was also surprised by Lynn’s boldness, but she had no objections. Her silence to his question was all the affirmation needed for her opinion. Theresa thought for a moment, and then replied to the young man.
“You cannot marry my daughter as a commoner. You have to prove your ability, and then you will be able to marry. I do not even want her to follow you to Fenglin Village. To tell you the truth, it is dangerous and barren over there.”
Lynn knew this very well and casually showed his knowledge.

Although, the nobles did not have any major changes in their views of Lynn from the meager showing of knowledge. Yet, they felt something was different about this boy.
“Lucy, do you want to follow him?” Theresa said while looking at her.
“It is not appropriate, right?” started a noble. “They have not married yet.”
“The conditions in Fenglin Village are so simple that I am afraid that they are not enough for Princess Lucy to live well,” says another.
“What if she has a child? This will be a scandal!” shouted yet another noble.
All of the nobles piece in their opinions in a loud manner. This did not faze Lucy in the slightest, and as she looked at Lynn she gave her answer.
“I will go with him. I will not marry someone else. I have thought about it for five years. As for suffering, I believe that my future husband will not let me suffer. He will protect me, just like he protected me in college at Kyle City.”
Lucy looked at Lynn while radiating brilliance, making her look more beautiful and moving to the eye. The teeth of the jealous nobles around them were soundly crushed from their hatred towards Lynn. Theresa nodded towards her will.
“Then you will go together. Of course, I will not let you go empty-handed. I will give you 20 cattle, 20 sets of farm tools, 50 gold coins, 10 horses, and five pieces of cloth,” she declares.
Lynn was very grateful to this big grant of wealth. Lynn knew his abilities and the knowledge from the other world, but Theresa only had a slight inclination of his prowess. Yet she still gave Lynn a chance. If one had grace, another must respond in kind. With such words in his heart, Lynn took note of his mother-in-law’s kindness.
After negotiations ended, all of the nobles dispersed. Lynn stayed with Lucy and Theresa and they had a meal together. Theresa heard that Lynn had left with only ten gold coins as a parting gift, and the atmosphere became very thick.
“How shameless! Even if you were a bastard, he should have given you a thousand gold coins to let you live decently!”
“They also tried to marry Lucy to humiliate you. Their attitude towards the northern nobles have always been despised. My position in their hearts was probably similar to how they held you,” Lynn chirped.
The nobles in the middle area were very rich. To make it worse, they controlled a valuable resource: the magicians. Magic was an extremely precious resource here. The northern nobles were mostly half-beast blood, causing them to be unable to master magic power. It also did not help that they were relatively poor and did not manage their wealth. This caused the middle nobles to look down on them.
When Theresa asked for a marriage for her daughter, Lynn was pushed out. To put it simply, they were a people who were despised by the arrogant nobles.
“From today on, you are a member of my northern aristocracy.” Theresa began. ”The northern aristocrats’ warriors were never weak. One day, I hope you take their arrogance and use your might to make them pay!”
“Whether it is the City of Kyle or the ruins, it will be mine sooner or later,” Lynn said.
War. Looting. Lynn must make them pay through whatever means necessary. After dinner, Lynn and Lucy took the rest of the day off and took a shower. Afterwards, they set off to the new land. On the way, Lynn opened the novice gift package given by the system.

But now, Lynn can accurately find the location of the treasures! What is more, the evolution of beasts was even better! The fighting power of Orcs was immense! Ten half-Orcs could easily beat fifty humans at once. Moreover, they would be completely loyal! As long as Lynn had points, he could make an infinite army. War seemed to be closer than he ever imagined.
