Hearing the name Bai Zhou, Yang Su and the rest were shocked.

As Bai Zhou said that, his eyes flashed with a murderous light before he waved his hand and a red coffin appeared in front of him. The lid then opened up to reveal its interior which was filled with several small and large metal spikes.

Bai Zhou’s figure then moved towards Fei Yin with blinding speed, sending out his palm to attack Fei Yin.

Xi Shen was prepared for something like this, so he took a step in front of Fei Yin and stared down Bai Zhou.

However, to everyone’s shock, he didn’t stop his palm attack.

Seeing that Xi Shen had stepped up to protect Fei Yin, Bai Zhou’s expression showed hesitation for a brief moment, but then thinking about the deal he had made before, his eyes gleamed with resolve and his palm continued to head for Xi Shen.

As an elder of a side branch family of the Bai Clan, his cultivation had reached the mid-stage of the Core Formation Realm.

When his palm made contact with Xi Shen’s chest a loud bang rang out. Xi Shen flew backwards into Fei Yin behind him and slammed in the Pavilion’s doors, breaking them in the process.

Yang Su and Fang Chen were so shocked that they stood there for a full two-second, their brains not comprehending why Bai Zhou had attacked Xi Shen.

However, Fang Chen’s face turned extremely dark, and an aura of Killing Intent exploded from his body which caused even Yang Su to take a step back in shock.

Fang Chen turned to Bai Zhou who had on a calm expression, before bellowing out, “Bastard!! You want to die?!!”

Fang Chen was extremely enraged. If Xi Shen actually die before he got his hands on another Nine Revolutions Sea Expansion Pill then all his hopes of learning his Master’s techniques would be dashed!

Feeling the strong bloodlust emanating from Fang Chen all of a sudden, caused Bai Zhou to be shocked that such a young man could release such murderous Intent. Even cultivators who have walked the path of slaughter wouldn’t have that amount of Bloodlust that was this potent and dense.

However, Bai Zhou had no time observing this youth.

Suddenly, a bellowed shout appeared from deep within the Bai Clan.

The burly figure of Bai Luo appeared in the air and he stared wide-eyed at the massive wormhole in the sky that looked as if it was going to swallow up his entire Clan.

His muscular body shook, and his face drained of blood when he realize what this phenomenon was.

‘The power to replace the heavens! This is the legendary ability that only someone who had reached the almost unattainable realm, the Heavenly Palace Realm, could use. Wha-what happened for a Heavenly Palace Realm cultivator to appear in our Bai Clan?!!’

Bai Luo began to panic. Unlike the other Major Clans, his Bai Clan hadn’t produced a Heavenly Palace Realm expert since their founding.

Their Clan Founder was said to have the power to fight against Heavenly Palace Realm cultivators with his Fleshly Body. But that was only because he had reached a high level in the Invincible Vajra Body Art. Since his passing, no one else from their Bai Clan had managed to reach his level. Hearing those words, Bai Luo blinked, before his body felt a cold chill go down his spine.

He had no idea what this Emperor was talking about! He was just in the middle of negotiations with a Lin Clan representative to go over details of their exchange.

The members of the Bai Clan who were suddenly hit with this news had their expressions turn white like a sheet of paper. The sudden threat of extermination was like a sucker punch that came out of nowhere. No! This wasn’t a sucker punch, it was more like a massive piece of meteor appearing out of thin air to smash them in the face. They were completely horrified!

Meanwhile, Bai Luo was trying to wrap his head around what the Emperor had said.

‘Shen’er? Was that the second prince? Why is he at my Bai Clan? And did he just say he was attacked by a senior member? That’s preposterous! Why would someone from our Bai Clan seek trouble with the Royal Family? Who the fuck is it?!! I’m going to ring their fucking neck!!’

Bai Lou's eyes become completely bloodshot from anger.

His Bai Clan was not in the position to create enemies, especially a power like the Royal Family. As they were now, they might really fall from the position of one of the Seven Major Clans. That’s why he was exhilarated when he discovered that pill furnace his useless son had bought, as well as the importance the Lin Clan, placed on it.

I was attacking the one who murdered my precious grandson and in my blind rage, I could not retrieve my attack when I saw the second prince step in the way. I am the one totally at fault, I’m willing to repay this transgression with my life. But I hope his highness can spare my Bai Clan. These are my thoughts and actions only, they shouldn’t be punished because of me.”

As Bai Zhou’s words echoed out, Bai Lou's bloodshot eyes trained on him, and even before Bai Zhou had finished speaking, he had almost gone over there and smash his skull in after he said, ‘forgive me your highness the Emperor.’

But thankfully he managed to hold himself back and allowed Bai Zhou to finish.

He then nervously turn to the massive wormhole and said, “Emperor Shu, please forgive me as well. I had no idea the second prince was visiting or of the issue between him and elder Zhou. If killing this disgrace of our Bai Clan isn’t enough to appease your anger, then wiping out his entire bloodline will have to make up for it.”

Bai Lou's voice was extremely cold and callous as he said that.

When everyone in the Bai Clan heard his suggestion, they didn’t feel that he was going too far. In fact, they were thinking along those lines as well. Why put the entire clan in danger for a mere side branch?

Elder Zhou should have known the consequences of his actions, but he still went ahead and did it. Enraged our not, attacking someone like the second prince was an inexcusable offense.
