Both youths' expression was filled with unconcealed rage.

Ling Tian snorted and pinched the two swords.

Two loud bangs echoed out as the two Low-grade Spirit Weapon Artifact exploded, sending both Fei Yin and Fang Chen flying backwards. After coming to a stop, Fei Yin spat out a mouth full of blood as his wounds weren’t fully healed yet.

Xi Shen sat up, and with a hand clutching at his left cheek, his expression looked slacked as he stared a Ling Tian.

Your status might scare some people but it has no effect on someone like me. You're like any other disciple in my eyes, no, in fact, you're even more worthless without the ability to cultivate. It was then that everyone realized that he was just a mere clone formed from Sword Aura.

Yang Su watched as Ling Xia left, and he saw her give him an apologetic look before she disappeared.

Yang Su’s expression became downcast. Fang Chen came up to his side and patted his back before saying, “It’s okay, there are other fishes in the sea who don't have an overprotective older brother.”

Yang Su wasn’t sure what Fang Chen meant by that, but he figure he was trying to comfort him and he was grateful.

“Thanks, junior brother Chen.”

Fang Chen’s face stiffen when he heard Yang Su calling him junior brother. He then turn to Fei Yin with a questioning gaze, but Fei Yin only shrugged his shoulder before he closed his eyes and went o heal his aggravated injuries.

“Brother Xi Shen, are you okay?”

Bai Xiaofung who was still controlling the boat asked from his position.

Xi Shen nonchalantly waved his hands and said, “It’s fine, let’s just forget about the events just now and focus on the matter at hand. We still have to retrieve Fei Yin’s family from your Clan.”

'And I still have to find that pill furnace.'

Everyone nodded in agreement, and like that they continued to head for the Bai Clan.

It took them quite a while to travel to reach their destination, but the sun was still at its highest point in the sky when they made it to the front gates of the Bai Clan.

Yang Su was marveling at the scenery while they were heading there, and was stunned to see familiar mountains in the distance where his village was located.

Xi Shen had agreed for them to head to his village, but only after they retrieve Fei Yin’s family first.

Bai Xiaofung didn’t slow his boat down as he came upon the entrance of his Clan.

The guards who were at the massive gate entrance saw the thirty-meter flying boat showing no signs of stopping and they became enraged.

“Halt!! This is the territory of the Bai Clan, what do you think you're doing barging in here?!! Are you looking for death?!!”

As that shout thundered out, several of them rose into the air -showing they had long reached the peak of the Foundation Realm- to confront the rude intruder. But Bai Xiaofung suddenly snorted before bellowing out, “Get out of my way!! Can’t you idiots recognize your young master?!! What’s wrong with the lot of you?! Scram!!”

The guards' in the air expressions changed while their faces drained of blood when they heard that high-pitch girly voice and the words they uttered. They immediately move out of the way of the boat, not willing to come near it.

As the boat passed unimpeded into the Bai Clan's territory, Yang Su and Fang Chen had confused looks on their face when they saw the guard’s look of horror as they passed.

Watching the boat heading into the Bai Clan, one of the gate guards couldn’t help but say, “W-why is the young master back? Didn’t he go to the Celestial Academy? Didn’t the Clan Patriarch finally get rid of him? Why did he return?!!”

That guard looked like he was going to break down in tears at the thought of Bai Xiaofung’s return.

Thinking back on all the disasters the Clan had suffered through because of him, they felt cold shivers down their spines.

“I hope the Clan Patriarch stops him from concocting any pills.” Another guard said.

“I don’t think young master came back for a simple visit.”

All the guards turn to look at their compatriot when they heard that.

“What makes you say that?”

Hearing that question, the guard promptly asked, “Didn’t you guys recognize the second prince on the boat when it passed?”

All the guards' eyes widen when they heard the mention of the second prince.

“Why would the second prince come to our Bai Clan?”

“I’m not too sure about the details, but it must probably be related to the rumors about one of Bai Zhou’s grandkids dying in the Celestial Academy.”

“Oh yeah, I heard elder Zhou created a ruckus in the Clan when he heard the news. And it was his second grandson as well. He was always doting on him because of his talents, and was even grooming him to take over their Side Branch of the Family.”

That guard then shook his head and said again, “I don’t know which poor soul had the guts to kill one of our Bai Clan members. Not only Bai Zhou, but even the Head Elders of the main branch are also upset. That kid is probably a dead man walking.”

Those last words hung in the air between the guards, as the boat became a small dot in the distance.

Even though the Bai Clan’s front gates were here, the actual Clan itself was spread over several hundred thousand acres of land. So Xi Shen and the rest flew over a few mountains before they could see signs of any building.

They came upon several Pavilions that were used to welcome guests, and it was here that Bai Xiaofung landed the boat.
