Bai Yu hesitated, no longer as confident, “Your Majesty, my parents are ordinary people. You can kill them.”
Lan Su relaxed slightly, realising the young man wasn’t invincible. However, Bai Yu warned of consequences if the emperor chose such a path.
Bai Yu stood up slowly, looking down at Lan Su, “If Your Majesty chooses this way, do you know the result?”
Perplexed, Lan Su felt a sudden dread under Bai Yu’s gaze.
Bai Yu asked, “Your Majesty, do you know what kind of person Bai Yu is?”
Lan Su shook his head lightly, saying, “Well… I don’t know.”
Bai Yu continued, “The Herbalist reported something to you, and you will know for yourself after hearing it.”
