Okay… maybe she had some right to be afraid.

“I won’t hurt you this time, Rin. I just want to ask you some things. Do you know somebody named Rina Luo? She has blond hair and she’s pretty airheaded sometimes. She’s my sister”

Rin Woo was a bit confused by this man suddenly asking her to help him! Didn’t he just bully her!? She should not even answer him! But she then looked into his red eyes and she felt a chill run down her spine. Maybe she should just obey him for now.

This man was too scary for her to do anything but obey him!

“Uh… No, I don’t know that person. I only know my brothers and sisters in the church of our lord -”

Han cut her off before she could start going on another speech about the lord their creator and he hummed. So either Rina wasn’t here or she was just too far from Rin Woo. Did she and Lily go to another shelter somewhere else? Han also found himself being curious about what happened to Miss Kim and even Ping.

They both already proved to him that they could survive very well in the apocalypse even though they didn’t have the best cards dealt to them. If there was someplace out there where other survivors gather, then they would surely be in one of them.

Han sighed and crossed his hands. He didn’t like leaving without at least being sure his sister was okay. Even if she was dead, he still wanted to know!

But it was like he would just have to make due with what he had right now. He had to go back soon anyways.

“Rin, do you remember anything from before you came in here? Are there any memories from before the wall?”

Memories from before the wall? Rin Woo shook her head in the negative. She did not ever think of it before because all she needed was her lord! The lord her creator was all the memories she had and all the memories she needed!

Han sighed as he saw Rin’s eyes glazing over once again. Was this idiot thinkinh about that fake god again? Just how deep did that brainwashing go!?

Han wasn’t going to waste his time to try and bring her back now. She was gone and there was nothing he could do about that. Even if he told her about some of the things they did before she would probably just not believe him.

Rin Woo watched Han turn around and completely ignore her. Was he going to just pretend like she wasn’t there!? Why!?

“Just who are you?”

She wasn’t going to let this crazy brute ignore her!

“I already told you who I am. If you don’t want to believe me then you can just walk away,”

Rin rode a brow. He was just going to let her go? Why did he not kill her like all the others!?

“You are not going to kill me? I will definitely hunt you down if you let me go. I can not just let you go now that you insulted our lord!”

Han looked back at her and she gulped at the stare. She couldn’t stand down now! She was going to hunt this man down to restore the honor of their religion!

Han walked up to her slowly and ran his hand over her face. She flinched in fear.

“Do you really think you can do anything against me? If you chase after me you will not come back alive the second time,”

Rin shivered again. She immediately forgot every idea about trying to chase after this man! But how were they ever together before!? She could not see herself dating a man like this! He was a brute!

“Why… Why are we no longer together?”

Rin became a little curious. If this man was so sure that they were once together then she wanted to know why they separated. Did he do something to her?

Han became a little depressed and looked away for a moment before looking back at her.

“I let you go. It is not safe to be with me so I just let you go,”

“You… Let me go?”

Rin Woo was confused. What could be so dangerous that she couldn’t stay with him?

“You are not going to ask me why I let you go? I thought you would he curious about that,”

Rin Woo narrowed her eyes. So he just wanted her to keep asking him about their relationship!? Was he trying to get back together? She didn’t care about any relationship now! She only cared about her lord now! She did not need anyone else in her life but the one the lord chose for her!

Han could see how angry Rin Woo became and he felt a small amount of annoyance in his heart. She wasn’t going to ask him about it.

He did not know that he just wanted to have someone to talk to about all this. This was the only person that he could talk to because he was sure he would never meet her again. He wanted closure!

“I still want to tell you… Will you listen to me?”

Han ran his hand over her cheek and Rin Woo hesitantly nodded.

He was mesmerized by how she was still so beautiful even when she was a crazy fanatic. He might be a bit lacking in emotional intelligence, but he knew that what he felt for her was more than normal.

Rin Woo knew that Han did not mean to scare her at all but it was not easy to erase the image of him killing the other chosen from her mind!

Han noticed that she was still scared but he just ignored it. He did not need her to be like the real Rin Woo. He just needed her to listen.

“Well, I have some things to do that I cannot bring you into. My life is already too dangerous for you to….”

“What kind of excuse is that?”

Han paused in shock at the hard voice she used. She was now glaring up at him and her eyes bored into his own. He was dumbfounded. Did this woman just call it an excuse?

“You are just using a stupid excuse to push people away. Are you an idiot or what?”

This was definitely not what he expected when he decided to get some closure. He just thought she would hear about some of the things he wanted to say and then tell him what she thought. How could she just stop him in the middle of it?

Han was not the most brilliant mind when it came to emotions before he got his powers, and now that his IQ was much higher, he knew that his feelings were not going to be as high as most other normal people. His emotions were like a small lake when people always say that it should be like a raging river. Was he losing something for this power?

“You think I am simply running away?”

“Not even from me alone. I can see that you do not have direction in life other than your own personal pleasure. You don’t have anyone close to bringing you to the open. You will just build a wall around yourself if you continue down this lane. I know many people that did what you are doing among my brothers and sisters. They all thought they were stronger than everyone so they could be closer to the lord on their own. Idiots! The lord himself does not hold back from having relations! The lord himself does not love in solitude! Why should we!?”

Not the sanest thing he heard today, but Han couldn’t help but think she was making some sense. He closed his eyes as he fully took what she said into consideration. Maybe he was going about things wrongly. Did he need to find a new way to handle his business and life?

“And here I thought I would be getting closure for my own problems. Now you just gave me more things to think about,”

“Uhm… Sorry?”

“No… It’s fine,”

Han looked at his screen again and he frowned at the time.
