Chapter 93: A Pair of Peerless Eyes

“Monster? Isn’t it a bit rude to call a fellow Disciple that?” Tian Yi was still in the mood to joke when a spear tip was literally touching his eyeballs.
“Your control with Spirit Power is not bad, but it can still be improved! Instead of focusing on raw power, improve your Spirit Power’s quality more,” he lectured him.
“Quality? What the hell are you talking about?” Disciple Mau Kang snapped out of his bewilderment after hearing something so bizarre. Quality? What does that have to do with Spirit Power?
“Just like how there are different qualities of Pills, Weapons, Divine Flames, there are also different qualities of Spirit Power-----” Tian Yi paused after he noticed the Disciple’s faces.
They were all looking at him with a wide open mouth. It was not that they did not have it before, but it was because they were even larger than before!
“Don’t tell me none of you knew about something as obvious as this…?” He was truly surprised this time.
Something like Spirit Power quality was the basics of basics, so how could they not have known that? Hell, even someone blind should be able to tell that there were differences in the quality of Spirit Power! Was this Sect not this Continent’s best Sect? Or is this world not as developed as other worlds in terms of Cultivation?
Just like how different worlds have different standards of Cultivation, they also have different knowledge. Some worlds out there may be more advanced in Divine Cultivation than others, and others may be more advanced in Martial Techniques than some.
“Alright, all of you, listen up! There are different qualities of Spirit Power, and I will show you an example!”
They all watch as Tian Yi lifts up his left palm, “Try to feel this Spirit Power, it feels faint and weak, right?”
The Disciples nods unconsciously.
“Good, now compare this one to the left Spirit Power.”
He lifts his right palm this time, and the Spirit Power that gathered there began raging with excitement and energy.
“The Spirit Power quality on my left hand is considered low-quality here, and the one on my right hand is considered high-quality. Because none of you knew about Spirit Power quality, many of you might have Cultivated while taking in the low-quality ones unknowingly. Now that you know about Spirit Power qualities, your Cultivation will increase by leaps and bounds once you figure out how to gather them properly---”
Before Tian Yi could even finish his lecture, literally every Disciple in the Fighting Halls began running outside and back to their house to try it.
Spirit Power Quality? Whether it was true or false, the last sentence was already enough to make them give up some effort in trying!
The entire Fighting Halls was emptied within minutes, leaving behind only a dumbfounded Tian Yi with shoe prints of the floor. Even his opponent Disciple Mau Kang had left without saying a word!
“I guess this will be it for today’s lecture…”
He got up, picked up the chair, and left the Fighting Halls to return to his house.

“Master, you are back already?” Yu Yue greeted Tian Yi at the front door.
“Un. The Disciples were eager to Cultivate, so they left early. Is Han Yixue ready?”
“Yes, she is waiting in the living room.”
“Okay, I will be there in a second.”
Tian Yi walked in and headed for the living room to where everybody was waiting.
“Han Yixue, are you ready?” He asked her.
“Yes, Master,” she replied.
Not wasting any more time, Tian Yi takes out the miracle pill once again. The twin silver dragon was still as lively as before, dancing around the pill without a care in the world.
“Remember, just a slight lick and it will do,” he reminded her.
“Un.”
Sticking out her tongue, Han Yixue slightly licks the pill with the just the tip of her tongue---
*BOOOOM*
She could feel the tip of her tongue exploding, scaring the living hell out of her and causing her entire body to freeze. She swears that her tongue was blown to smithereens just now, but the next thing that happened had surprised her even more.
Something had covered her mouth; something soft and warm, but she had no idea what it was until she felt air being blown into her mouth gently. However, her shock had only lasted for one more second before she passes out due to the abnormal amount of Spirit Power invading her body.
Noticing the Spirit Power that has finally begun trying to tear Han Yixue apart from the inside, Tian Yi removes his mouth from hers, and he puts his palm on her forehead, forcing his own Spirit Power into her body and controlling the out of control Spirit Power.
“....”
“..........”
The girls watched with a wide mouth as he silently helped Han Yixue control the Spirit Power. None of them had expected him to sudden kiss her! There was no such procedure when he had explained what was going to happen, so why did something like that happen?!
Seeing Tian Yi, the son of the Celestial Emperor kiss a Mortal, Yu Yue had almost fainted, but she somehow resisted and only fell on her knees with a headache.
‘I was not the first to kiss him, but who would’ve known that I would not even get the second?!’ Yan Yan screamed in her heart.
Xuan Wanshan covered her mouth as if she wanted to hide her shock, but even with her mouth covered, her shocked eyes were in plain sight. She had believed Tian Yi to be someone pure and innocent, yet he kissed someone so easily? He might actually be a playboy inside! However, one can only joke about that for so long before realizing the terror if it were to actually come true. If Tian Yi was to become a playboy one day, then how would the males live through such days?
Seeing Tian Yi kiss Han Yixue made Meng Xiang remind her of that time where he was feeding her the Divine Flames. That sweet taste could still be remembered and would linger around her mouth at random times. Now that she remembers it, she felt like tasting his mouth again!
More than ten minutes had passed since Tian Yi sat in front of Han Yixue controlling her Spirit Power. And only after another moment did he finish and stand back up.
“She will be fine now. Yu Yue, can you put her on the bed to rest?” he said.
“Y-Yes, Master.” Yu Yue picked Han Yixue up and walked to her room. ‘You lucky thing…’ She shouted in her mind as she carried her.
“Tian Yi, what was that? I did not recall anything about kissing her.” Xuan Wanshan was the first one to bring it up.
“What? She froze with the Spirit Power still on her tongue. If I did not push the Spirit Power into her body, her entire face would’ve been blown away… And it is not like I’m going to stick my fingers in her mouth---”
“You’re definitely right about that one!” Yan Yan interrupted. She would rather have him do something like mouth to mouth than something like sticking his fingers in her mouth. Something like that is not a scene she would like to see even if she went blind forever. However, if that person he was sticking his fingers into was her, then it was a totally different story!
Tian Yi was the most confused one here. Were his actions that questionable?
Yu Yue came back down after putting Han Yixue on her bed, and the first thing that came out of her mouth was, “Master! I do not remember anything like kissing her during the brief!”
Tian Yi looked at her with an even more confused face, “You too? Were you not watching the whole thing? With your Cultivation, you should be able to easily see that the Spirit Power was about to explode…”
Yu Yue suddenly remembers something like that, but because of his sudden actions, it was instantly wiped away from her memories. The first kiss of the pure and untainted Holy Son of Heaven has finally been taken! And by a Mortal at that! Such news must not be known by the outside or hell would break loose!
Meng Xiang suddenly tugged Tian Yi’s robes.
“Big Brother, can you do that to me again?” she asked.
“WHAT?!?!?!”
Yu Yue and Xuan Wanshan trembled from shock. What had shocked them was not the question itself but the word ‘again’ within the question. What does she mean by again?
Yan Yan facepalmed herself with her wings. Only she knows of that incident, and she had planned on keeping it to herself even if it was the end of the world…
“T-T-Tian Yi.. T-To someone as young as her… H-How dare you…” Xuan Wanshan actually turned angry!
“What?!” It was Tian Yi’s turn to shout in surprise. What did he do this time?!
“Ah, Big Brother fed me something called Divine Flames through the mouth…” explained Meng Xiang.
“D-D-Divine Flames…” Xuan Wanshan suddenly remembers her controlling this Silver Divine Flame during the Pill Contest. So that thing was given to her by Tian Yi?!
“Y-You…” She was shocked at too many things at this moment to even know where to being.
Yu Yue, on the other hand, was knocked out cold due to the shock. She may have survived the first one, but alas, definitely not the second one with such a short break in between.
Yan Yan flew on Yu Yue’s unconscious face and slapped her a few times, instantly waking her up.
“.....”
Tian Yi did not know how to react to such a weird scene, so he ignored them and went to prepare for his next lecture.

Unaware of how long she was asleep, Han Yixue slowly wakes up feeling refreshed. She has not had such a good sleep since forever. And because she was just asleep, her vision was still a bit blurry----
‘Blurry!?’
Her mind was forced to wake up due to the shock she received, and once she was fully awake, her vision turned clear.
“Ah…”
She reached for her face with her trembling hands.
“I-Is this a dream…?”
She began doubting her reality. In front of her were her slender hands and a plain looking wall. Covering her was a white blanket, and shining through the window was a glittering light, the moonlight. There were many unfamiliar things in her view, yet she could remember them as if it was yesterday.
Only after remaining still on her bed for a few more minutes did she remember what she did before passing out. Throwing the white blanket out of the way, Han Yixue walked to the door with an unstable balance. She has relied on her ‘vision’ with Divine Sense for many years now so adjusting to her new ‘vision’ was not something that can be done within seconds.
Clack. She opened the door and walked out while holding the wall as her support.
Her breath was loud and fast paced, and her eyes were narrowed because she was not used to the light even though it was only the moonlight. Not to mention her body was still weak due to a new Spirit Power residing within her body. It was such an odd feeling that she would have believed that she was in a different body if it weren’t for the young man looking at her from downstairs.
Although she has never truly seen his face, she was still able to grasp the shape of his features and whatnot, giving her a clue to as to what he may look like. She thought he had an ugly face at first, but even that did not stop her from following him. However, looking at him now, he was more handsome than her imaginations. Although he had a normal looking face and was normal in every other aspect, she found him oddly handsome. Maybe it was because of the moonlight shining on his face--- maybe it was even because she suddenly remembered that soft touch on her lips before passing out.
“M-Master…” she called out to him and tears started coming out, making her vision blurry again.
“The people were right… You do have a pair of very beautiful eyes,” said Tian Yi.
He walked up the stairs knowing that she won’t be able to come down for awhile.
Standing in front of her, he stared at her straight in the eyes. Her irises were the color of an azure sea, and because of her tears, it was glittering like the stars currently hanging in the midnight sky. Not only was her eyes beautiful, it was as clear as a cloudless blue sky.
A pair of peerlessly beautiful and untainted eyes; no wonder why her family was jealous to the point of sealing it forever…
“Master…” Han Yixue calls for him in a soft voice, and she suddenly hugs him, staining his white robes with tiny dark spots of tears.
“......”
The place had turned silent with only slight weeping sounds once in a while.
