Chapter 38: Midnight Talk
Still in the middle of the night.
“Master, can you tell me about yourself?” Tian Yi asked her.
They are still currently in the courtyard, but with chairs and a formation around them, making them invisible to the naked eyes.
“Okay, what do you want to know?” She said.
“I don’t know; I just want to know more about Master so that we can feel more connected.” He said. He wanted to know more about this new Master of his since they might be together forever now.
“How about I ask you questions, and once you answer, I’ll also answer?” She suggested.
“Okay, that sounds good. What do you want to know about me?” He said.
“First, how old are you again? You only look around 17-18…” She asked. She wanted to know how old this Spirit Realm disciple of hers was.
“I am 18 Years Old.”
“I-I am 27 this Year…” She was surprised yet again. 18?! He has more talent than Chan Jingyi!
“What do you like to do on your free time when you’re not Cultivating?” She asked about his hobbies.
“Just about anything, from sparring with Magic Beasts to Reading quietly. However, trying out new food is my priority.” He said with a calm voice, not noticing what he just said was weird. “Is that so… I like to read and cook, so maybe I will cook something for you another time.”
With her parents afraid that she might get hurt, they made her stay at home most of the time. And the only thing she could do at home was either read books or cook for fun…
“Really? Then I will look forward to that day!” For a Master to cook for their disciple is something that rarely happens, not to mention that most Masters did not know how to cook. Who had time for a Mortals hobby?

“….” She was a shocked at that question. What was he implying? That he is not who she think he is?
Her face turns serious, “Then I will disown him! I do not need a disciple who goes around fooling even their own Master! That is basically backstabbing already! I want an honest and obedient disciple who actually cares for their Master!” She said with a very cold voice. She was not joking this time around; she will rather have her Cultivation abandoned than to have a fake disciple!
“!!!!” Tian Yi’s entire body trembles hearing her cold voice. For some reason, his heart feels really bad listening to it! It was like something emotional had struck his heart, making him feel depressed!
“Why did you mention that? Could it be—” She started daggers at him.
“Master! I apologize! This disciple was unfaithful and has been keeping Master in the dark about certain things!” He jumps up and instantly kowtows in front of her! This is the second time in his life ever to kowtow, and they were both done in the same day!
Xuan Wanshan’s face darkens, and she stood up. He just became her disciple, and there’s already drama!
“What! You’re telling me that you are not who I think you are? Then who are you?!” She yells at him with a very cold voice. This time around, she was not playing her ‘cold’ Character, but is genuinely cold! She really loved this new disciple of hers, yet he dares to backstab her already?! She was extremely happy to find a disciple like him, so glad she even thought it was a dream when she woke up not long ago! She knew it was too good to be true!
“Master! You’re right; I am not who you think I am! But I am only keeping it a secret for your own good! I did not plan on keeping it a secret forever, but you are currently not ready to take the responsibilities of knowing!” He felt like he was being scolded by his father when he did something awful. But he did it all for her! If he went and told a Mortal that she had the Celestial Emperor’s son as a disciple, how will she feel?!
“Who do you think I am?! Will I not be able to take the responsibilities? I am sure I can, but feel free to prove me wrong!” She was becoming more disappointed by each second. Her heart was already bleeding from pain. Her first disciple not only looks down on her, he even fooled her with a fake identity… Was this karma? Did he shatter her hopes just like how she shattered these disciple’s back then?
Tian Yi looks at this new Master of his with a painful face.
Not even a full day since they’ve met, yet when he sees the disappointment and pain in her eyes when looking at him, his heart tightens. He did not know what this feeling was. Was it because he failed as a disciple on the first day? Or was it because of her eyes filled with pain and disappointment?
He did not know what to do! He has never experienced this before! The books he read has never mentioned anything about this! He was smart, but he was also ignorant about many things, and one of these things are feelings! Especially his own feelings!
He did not know how to answer these eyes of her, but he did know what can make it better! To tell the freaking truth!
“Master! Watch me carefully, because this is the real me!” He flew into the sky, blocking half of the moon with his body.

Xuan Wanshan had a fright when he suddenly flew into the sky. She thought he was trying to run away! But he halted right between the moon and her, with his back covered in the moonlight, his body starts to glow gold!
She watched with wide eyes as the transformation begins in front of her.
Her average looking disciple was gone! He was replaced by an entirely different person!
Her body swayed, and she fell on her butt, staring at his perfect face. With his long black hair dancing in the wind, his figure was not too slim or too bulky, but just perfect. He stared back at her with his sharp and mesmerizing eyes. She uncontrollably stares back, as if his eyes had a very mysterious power, making her unable to look away. She stares into his golden eyes without blinking, it shined like stars in the galaxy. She could not help but start feeling what she felt during the Master and Disciple Ceremony! But this time, she was able to think properly!
Tian Yi stares down at her, afraid she might not look at him, “Master! This is the real me! Although I can not tell you much right now, I can say that I am not from this Realm, but a higher one!”
He waited for a reply but did not hear one so he continues, “Master, if you are still willing to accept me as a disciple, I will once again kowtow to you with my true self! But if you still do not want to forgive me, then I will disappear from your sights, never bothering you again!” He said with a clear voice.
“…..” Xuan Wanshan was frozen from shock, only to wake up after hearing his Heavenly voice. Even his voice was changed! It was no longer that cute and normal voice, but a voice domineering enough to shake her soul nonstop! It sounded like Heavenly Music, once you hear it, you want to hear more!
“I—” She tried talking but did not know what to say! If she said ‘YES,’ how will she be able to act as a Master in front of him from now on? How will she be able to look at his face without having weird thoughts? She will be torturing herself, trying to not cross that red line! She is only a 27 Years Old young maiden. She would be lying to herself if she said that she did not want a relationship. They have only met for less than a day, not to mention they are in a Master and Disciple relationship.
However, there are people like that out there, and her disciple had many things in common with her, which she really liked. But for her to cross that line now was impossible, yet she knew that was only ‘now.’ What will she do once they become more intimate and she finds him more acceptable? Will he accept her at that point?
Now if she said ‘NO,’ she will definitely regret it. Not only will she lose that chance of development, but she will also even lose an once in a lifetime disciple like him. To find someone that thinks like she was almost impossible, yet she found one. If she disowns him now, will she ever be able to find another one? Even if she did, will she be at peace?

Tian Yi was patient and waited for her reply. He did not know what she was thinking, and could only stand there silently, hoping to hear the answer he wanted to.

“Good! Get up!” She said.
“Yes, Master!” He stands up, with his forehead dirtied again.
Xuan Wanshan smiles at this familiarity; she wipes his forehead again with her sleeves. But this time, it felt entirely different from before! Her hand trembled when she touched him, trying her best to hold it in.
Tian Yi stood there with his eyes closed, enjoying the feeling of his forehead being wiped by his Master. “Getting a Master here was such a good idea.” He thought. Being ignorant, they were able to do things that nobody dared to back in the Celestial Emperor’s World!
After cleaning his forehead again, Xuan Wanshan took one good look at his Heavenly figure and closed her eyes. Then she said, “Tian Yi, change back into your previous appearance.”
“Yes, Master.” Tian Yi did just that and returned to looking like his previous appearance, ordinary.
Xuan Wanshan did not open her eyes yet, “Are you done?” She asked.
“Yes.” He answers.
She opens her eyes again to see the ordinary young man like when she first met him.
“Good, now here’s my first order as your Master.” She said.
“Do not change back into your other appearance in front of me or other people at that!” If she sees him with that look again, she will definitely lose to herself.
‘Yes, Master!” He said.
“Good! Starting now, I will be staying here with you. With the way you do things, I can tell that you are ignorant about many things, so I will be teaching you wherever you go! This is the only way I can feel useful as your Master!” She made up her mind. This way, not only will they get even more intimate, she will be able to spend more time with this new disciple of hers. She looks forward to future with him.

When Xuan Wanshan went back into her new room, she laid a formation in her room, making sure nobody could spy on her. Lying on her bed, she closed her eyes. Her mind started thinking about the future possibilities. After a while, with her imaginations going wild, her hands reached into her clothes, towards her lower body. Many minutes later, she fell asleep with less stress.
