Chapter 01: Missouri: The Flower of the Gods

In the year 2009, in a small town in the United States.
A blonde woman with a shawl suggested to the man in the back while sitting in the driver’s seat.
“Yi Nuo, your body is still weak. I suggest that you don’t run.”
“Isn’t there still you? Doctor Angela.”
His name was Yi Nuo, born in 1991, the day Iron Man, Tony Stark’s parents were killed by the Winter Soldier.
For more than a decade, his family’s genetic disease had dragged Yi Nuo down.
He inherited this hereditary genetic disease from his ancestors. Even the current technology could not find out what it was.
Although this genetic disease was not fatal, it would continuously make people weaker for their whole life.
Imagine, a normal person with a normal body, but he did not even have the strength to lift any object of 10-20 pounds. This feeling would be really terrible.
So Yi Nuo’s family created a company called Umbrella, since their ancestors.
This Umbrella corporation only had the same name. It wasn’t completely the same as the one in Resident Evil.
But it was also a company that made drugs and medical equipment.
And now this company was handed over to Yi Nuo.
A few days ago.
Yi Nuo suddenly got a gene devouring system.
As long as a genetic sample was available, the system could devour it and evolve, but all it needed was energy.
Hence, Yi Nuo was searching for the flower of the gods in Missouri according to his memory right now.
According to his memory, Star Lord’s hometown was in a small wooded area of Missouri.
There was the Flower of Gods left behind by the Star Lord’s father, Ego.
It was planted by Ego so that he could devour this planet when he was ready.
“I’m just a doctor, and you better not get your hopes up for miracles.”
The doctor in a white coat in the driver’s seat stroked her forehead and looked at Yi Nuo in the back helplessly.
Her name was Angela Ziegler. She had a Ph.D. in biogenetics and medicine.

A few years before she graduated, Yi Nuo hired her as his personal physician.
Buckle! Buckle!
Suddenly, a window of Yi Nuo’s car was tapped twice.
After confirming the identity, Angela opened the car’s window.
A muscular man in a black suit with sunglasses came forward and said.
“Boss, we’ve already sent people from the Red Umbrella Department to search. I’m here to confirm the target.”
Yi Nuo nodded and took out a flat tablet from beside him. It was displaying a blue fruit covered with hollowed-out flowers.
Apparently, the flower of God had not bloomed yet.
“Jason, tell them not to touch anything when they find it, and then let me know.”
“Yes.”
The man in the suit and sunglasses nodded in agreement. He took the tablet away and began to instruct his subordinates to pay attention.
His Umbrella had three departments in the United States.
Among them, red was an armed military department.
White was the drug development department.
Blue was a biological research and development department.
Although the current Umbrella wasn’t as powerful as it was in the game, it still had a lot of corporation projects with the government.
After giving orders, Yi Nuo sat in the car and waited for news from his men.
Angela looked at Yi Nuo, who was suddenly acting abnormal today, curiously through the rearview mirror, and said.
“The woods are dangerous in the summer, so why not let them pick the flower?”
Yi Nuo looked at the members of the Red Umbrella from the car window who had already entered the forest:
“I had a dream that it would heal my disease.”
“Oh, ~~~ My God.” Angela did an exaggerated hand gesture and said.
“Why did you suddenly become superstitious?”
Yi Nuo lifted his wrist, looked at his valuable watch, and said, “Wait a few more minutes and you’ll know.”
Star Lord’s father, Ego, was a member of the Celestial race and he was born as a brain-like existence.
Then, over millions of years, it learned to gather particles and create the core of the planet before forming it.
This took him over several million years.
Ego had complete control over the planet. He could even control the planet’s environment, animals, and plants.
As long as the planet did not perish, Ego would not die.
That’s why Ego wanted to swallow and devour countless planets.
After a few minutes.
The muscular man, Jason, who had just knocked on the window of Yi Nuo’s car, suddenly emerged from the forest.
Jason rushed over and said, “Boss! We found the target!”
Yi Nuo nodded and opened the door to get out of the car.
Looking at the scorching summer sun, Jason hurriedly pulled out his umbrella and held it above Yi Nuo’s head as he walked into the town’s woods.
Angela also got out of the car and pulled out an umbrella to follow.
Under the summer sun, Yi Nuo walked into the woods.
They walked along the path that the Red Umbrella Department had cut down to the side of the Flower of Gods.
Yi Nuo looked at the flower before him and reached out to a security member, “Tactical dagger.”
The Red Umbrella security member quickly placed the dagger in Yi Nuo’s hand.
Holding the dagger, Yi Nuo cut open the hollowed-out flower.
Then he cut open its blue bud (fruits).
