Chapter 81 Christmas! (Filler)

"Merry Christmas!"

Gu Xia yelled out while holding his drink high up in the air, everyone present which included all the heroines, Gu Lin, Gu Luo, Shu Ara, Shu Han, Shu Lixin, Chang Li, Chang Tong, and Zi Yu all lifted their respective drinks and also yelled out.

"Merry Christmas!"

Reminder... Chang Li was drinking apple juice!

Just like that, inside a large private villa owned exclusively by the Gu family began a Christmas party that went underway. Talking and laughing soon resounded throughout the building and the atmosphere was peaceful.

In the middle of the living room, a giant Christmas tree stood tall and strong, underneath the leaf's were presents. Everywhere in the private villa had Christmas decorations planted everywhere.

Around a glass table, all the heroines were having a conversation about Gu Xia and his way of dealing with women... Shu Ling was the first to approach this topic, as she was the one who opened her mouth first.

"I swear, when Gu Xia approached me he treated me so meanly!"

As Shu Ling pouted, Xu Ruo scoffed and spoke up about her employer who seemed to be talking out of her ass.

"Oh please, remember when Gu Xia had to go through the plot as a villain and when he was dog licking you, you treated him like garbage even though he would do simple gestures like giving you flowers."

All the heroines besides Shu Ling and Xu Ruo nodded their heads in agreement, but the iceberg heroine of course had to defend her name and that's what she did!

"Hello, remember the heroine halo we all hold? That affected my thinking and actions!"

She humped and looked away while puffing out her cheeks like a chipmunk. She couldn't help but remember the past, when Gu Xia was a classified simp who would bend to her will. Right as Li Min the ruthless underground queen was about to speak, a stern voice appeared capturing everyone's attention.

"Ok, time for the snowball fight Chang Li wanted. I want everyone outside in the next 10 seconds!"

Gu Xia, who was the one that spoke, eyed everyone. Everyone in the building besides staff left and stood in a formal formation from shoulder to shoulder. Nodding his head, Gu Xia glanced from left to right, he was currently thinking who to make the team captains. After a couple seconds he chose.

"Chang Li and Chu Quing, you'll be team captains, step forward and you'll pick someone one at a time."

The little girl and athletic heroine both stepped forward and with a burst of energy ran over to Gu Xia. Chang Li and Chu Qing both held one of Gu Xia's arms...

"Hey! I want, big brother!"

Chang Li's small cute voice angrily escaped her mouth, she really wanted her big brother on her team! (She wanted to win at all costs!) She would never hand over Gu Xia, this was something she wouldn't yield to, so she stood firm and adorably strong as her light blue hair swayed behind her shoulders.

Of course, Chu Qing didn't want to yield either... As a competitive woman who grew up in a family who houses and breeds the best athletes in the world, she hated the word, "defeat". She would do anything it took to win, fairly! She knew that whichever team acquires Gu Xia... Wins... So, she had to get him!

Gu Xia, who had both of his arms almost being torn off by two women, sighed heavily and spoke to the two about a fair way in all of this. He didn't want to ruin anyone's mood on Christmas, so he decided to go a favorable route for himself and everyone present.

"How about I'll be on my own team, a solo team?"

Chang Li and Chu Qing pouted for a couple of seconds, but they soon obediently nodded their heads in acceptance. The little girl was the first to let go of Gu Xia's arm and take a step back, Chu Qing a second later following the same action.

Gu Xia showed a small smile, he then made his way to the formation where he stood shoulder to shoulder with Chang Tong, who was currently looking at her daughter with a small smile and gentle eyes. It's been years since they got to have such a Christmas event.

After three rock paper scissors rounds to decide who picked first, Chu Qing emerged victorious after a tough blood sweat earned battle. Claiming her victory with a graceful pride, she pointed toward the first person she wanted to recruit to her team!

"Shu Ling!"

Hearing her name be called caused Shu Ling to point to herself in a little disbelief, she even looked to her left and right. Confusion was clearly pouring out of her head as she walked over to her team captain and stood next to her. She couldn't suppress the words she wanted to ask, so she let it out.

"Why did you pick me? I'm not athletic... I'm only good with business."

Hearing the quiet question, Chu Qing's eyebrows raised as she looked at the new recruit she picked for her snowball team. Feeling a little annoyed at the stupid question, she rubbed her forehead and gave a short answer.

"Aren't you an iceberg?"

Shu Ling felt like her entire body froze, her mind began racing and her entire internal mood was shooting everywhere to different emotions and how to react on why she picked... Suddenly out of nowhere a loud laugh erupted.

"Ahahahahah!!! That's amazing... Oh, shit... I'm tearing up."

Gu Xia wiped the small tears forming inside eyes and took calm deep breaths before getting control of himself.

Shu Ara covered her mouth, in order to cover the muffle that was pouring from her mouth. She was one of the only people who knew about her daughter's complex of being a cold indifferent woman.

Everyone else just looked at both Gu Xia and Shu Ara with curious gazes, they truly had no idea why they were laughing away... But, those thoughts were put on hold as Chang Li announced who she was going to pick for her team.

"I want, big sister!"

The little girl pointed toward Chang Wen who gently nodded her head and joined her little sister, she made sure to tell the little girl her happiness of being chosen.

"I'm extremely happy you picked me!"

Chang Li who heard her older sister's nice words rolled her eyes and muttered to herself to where no one besides Ai Yao and Gu Xia could hear.

"Well, I wanted, big brother..."

5 minutes later... A sudden issue occurred while picking teams...

"No! That's fair! Ai Yao is a cheat loli!"

Chu Qing complained, knowing that the other team had a literal cheat on their team caused her winning emotions to go ballistic.

Ai Yao felt veins appearing on her forehead as she heard the 'offensive' words... She was quick to defend her name which wasn't her usual emotionless façade.

"How dare you call me a-"

Before she could finish, a snowball was thrown in her face... As the snow slowly slid off her face, she glared at the woman who threw the ball of snow... Chu Qing stuck out her tongue which further annoyed the cultivator loli.

"You'll regret that!"

She quickly picked up some snow and made it into a ball where she then pulled back her arm and threw it as if she was throwing a baseball toward the athletic heroine who tried to dodge but failed. She was met with a face full of snow...

With that... A full on war commenced between everyone who began attacking each other with snowballs.

Gu Xia just stood back and watched this entire scene with a small smile on his face, he never really thought this would have ever happened in his entire mental life... Hell, he hadn't celebrated Christmas for a very long time... Fuck, he couldn't remember when either...

Feeling a small sense of cuteness, he looked over to his left where he saw Chang Li quietly and sneakily sneaking over with a small snowball in her tiny hands, ready to throw the ball of snow at him...

Gu Xia, on purpose, looked the other way and ignored the little girl who just threw the snowball at him.

Before the snow ball hit him, he muttered to himself.

"I truly am glad I quit being the villain."

After the snowball fight ended everyone went back indoors and opened up presents where Gu Xia gifted the heroines many 'toy's' for them... To enjoy themselves in the future.
