The cocoon squirmed and made an extremely repulsive sound that made Siegfried grimace every time he heard it, but he remained unfazed.

Gosran shot arrow after arrow at the cocoon from range while Siegfried was pummeling it with his +13 Horse Fly.

Then, a message popped up in front of Siegfried's eyes.

“Heok!” Siegfried gasped after realizing that the disgusting liquid was actually something extremely valuable. He immediately opened his Inventory and took out the containers coated with the Kautschuk Tree Sap to collect all of the liquid gushing out from the cocoon and flowing on the ground.

Siegfried heard something groan from within the largest puddle of the green liquid. He flashed his Rune of Insight at the figure, realizing that it was most probably the true form of Hennessy.

‘Damn... I can’t fight against her here...’ Siegfried grumbled inwardly. He had to defeat Gosran to clear the quest he received from Deus, but this was definitely not the right time for that.

“E-excuse me—" Siegfried tried to say something but was interrupted.

“Hold up!” Siegfried shouted and rushed to scoop in as much of the nutrient medium as he could into the containers. The nutrient medium was so toxic that it dug a depression on the Sun Pyramid’s surface and created a pool.

Siegfried could scoop this toxic substance up thanks to the tools that he was currently using, which were the same ones he had used to collect the Kautschuk Tree Sap.

“Siegfried-nim! We need to hurry!”

“I’m done!”

“Kyuuu! We have to run away, owner punk!”

As soon as he was done collecting the nutrient medium, Siegfried ran down the Sun Pyramid in the opposite direction of the Adventurers. While he was running, a line of words was flashing above his head unbeknownst to him. "I Am Backstabbing."
